Nut Milk

A milk sommelier, I am not. But a often times creative in the kitchen. If you thought milk was just a simple addition to a cereal bowl—you will be amazed the flavour palette from this lavender infused blend of ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1L of water

  • 6 pitted dates

  • 3/4 cup of mixed nuts of choice

  • Fresh lavender

  • 1/4 Tsp of Culinary seasalt (Maldon is my favourite brand currently)

  • 1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Soak the blend in the fridge overnight.

  • Remove lavender and in a high speed blend the nuts and dates until creamy.

  • Pour the nut milk through a cheese cloth or very fine strainer and squeeze all the liquid out.

  • Store your homemade nut milk in your fridge and drink within 2-3 days.
