Oreo Skor Brownies
Stuffed oreo chocolate gooey goodness
Ingredients
12 tbsp unsalted butter
1 ½ cups brown sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
2 eggs
1/3 cup of Skor bits
120g of plain cream cheese
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup dark chocolate chips
18-22 Oreos
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare, spray and line a 8x8 pan, leave parchment paper edges to overhang, and spray the parchment with a non-stick spray.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir, continue microwaving for 30 seconds at a time, and stir until the butter is softly melted.
Once melted, add in 2 eggs, cream cheese and vanilla and mix well. Sift in the flour, Skor bits and dark chocolate chips.
Pour half of the batter into the lined pan, then layer 14 hand crushed Oreos. Pour the remaining batter on top of those and crush the remaining on top, lightly swirl with knife..
Bake for 33-35 minutes, careful not to overbake. The brownies will be gooey, allow for 1-2 hour to cool before cutting.
