Breakfast Energy Potion

Each ingredient listed has been methodically selected in association to it’s researched beneficial health effect and complementary flavours

For ease, I prep the little powder baggies of two-weeks worth of servings and add berries and almond milk separate

Ingredients list

  • 1 tsp Shiljit

  • 2 tbsp of cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp of PB2

  • 1 scoop inositol

  • 1 tbsp of cocoa nibs

  • 2/3 cup of ORGANIC oats (glyphosate free)

  • 1 serving lions mane

  • 1 serving OM master blend (mushroom powder)

  • 1 1/2 cup of almond milk

  • 1 Tsp of maca

  • 1 tsp of psyllium husk or inulin

  • 1 scoop of EAAS - Canadian Protein

  • 1/2 Tsp cinnamon

  • 2-3 cups of ORGANIC blueberries/Raspberries or Strawberries (Frozen or Fresh)

Blueberries :

Improved weight maintenance and neuroprotective properties, antioxidants that reduce DNA damage and build up of ‘bad’ cholesterol

Inositol: improved blood pressure, blood sugar regulation, mood function, fertility health, metabolic improvements

Cocoa nibs: digestive regulation, reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol, weight managment, reduce against Alzheimer’s, nerve function

Cocoa Powder: Sparks joy

Oats: help with insulin sensitivity, increase satiety hormone PYY, regulate bowels and gut health

Lions mane: reduce anxiety and depression related symptoms, nerve function, liver health and digestion.

*As much as I’d like to write a small novel on the beneficial properties of mushrooms—I will leave this to Paul Stamets, a mycologist paving the way for a lot of relevant digestible researched material

Although this contains a series of ingredients that have an initial investment, it is far more affordable than buying a meal out.

As it sits very well with me, I’ve managed to eat this everyday for the past 4 months without getting sick of it!
